Under general direction of the Railroad Operations and Safety Branch (ROSB) Program Manager, the Program and Project Supervisor (PPS) plans the work and supervises the staff in performance of, the gathering of data for, ROSB initiatives and projects. Along with the support by the Risk Management and Engineering staff, the ROSB PPS supervises and supports ROSB proactive safety initiatives and projects. Examples: the Railroad Bridge Evaluation Program (RBEP), Railroad Tunnel Evaluation Project (RTEP), Crude Oil Reconnaissance Team (CORT), Rail Head Wear Project (RHWP), Positive Train Control Team (PTCT), General Order Training Program (GOTP), Risk Management initiatives and any other such special projects and programs that are developed for ROSB.
