The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is one of the most influential regulatory agencies in the United States. For almost 100 years, the CPUC has worked to protect consumers and ensure the provision of safe, reliable utility service and infrastructure at just and reasonable rates, with a commitment to environmental enhancement and a healthy California Economy. The CPUC regulates privately owned electric, natural gas, telecommunications, water railroad, rail transit, and passenger transportation companies.

The Facilities, Business Services and Fleet & Asset Section oversees the overall management, direction, guidance of the CPUC's facilities, fleet and asset management, mail room, reprographics, records management, retention program, environmental sustainability, and forms management. The Facilities Unit plans, organizes, and manages a comprehensive program for facilities planning, leasing, maintenance, and operations.
Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II/Analyst I shall have primary responsibility for the agency’s facilities planning and space projects, including all California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) offices.
