The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) is seeking a self-directed, detail-orientated individual to join our Information Services team as a Helpdesk Technician. This position is based in our Jefferson City office with occasional travel to our St. Louis or Kansas City offices.

What you’ll do:
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices (iPads and iPhones).
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and user interactions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Assist with IT inventory management, ensuring that all devices are accounted for and properly tracked
- Assist with basic training and guidance for end-users on IT-related topics (e.g., software use, password management).
- Rare travel within the state of Missouri.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree and 0-3 years of information technology support experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preference given to candidates with:
- Proven customer support experience.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different personalities.
- Experience supporting Dell and Apple products.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
