What you’ll do:

• Perform audits and examinations of investor-owned utility companies operating

within the State of Missouri.

• Analyze financial data to identify anomalies, trends, and unusual activity.

• Prepare detailed audit workpapers, schedules and reports supporting

recommendations to the Commission.• Work includes presenting oral and written testimony in formal rate cases before the

Commission.

• Up to 30% travel may be required.

• Work experience in this position qualifies for CPA certification.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance,

economics, or a closely related field with a minimum of 15 hours in accounting

(December graduates are welcome to apply) and;

• 0-2 years of professional accounting experience

• Must be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles

• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and writing skills are essential

• Computer experience required, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,

PowerPoint, and Access software applications preferred
