This position is within the PUC's Bureau of Administration, Office Services Division. The position will provide mail services, storeroom duties and manual labor within the Commission to help ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively throughout the Commission.

This position is responsible for multiple duties and include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for providing mail and messenger services to the Commission.
• Processing a variety of mail by utilizing a mail machine, folder inserter and other equipment.
• Maintaining a database of e-certified signatures and a spreadsheet of returned mail.
• Files daily reports and maintains records according to record retention schedule.
• Help to transport Executive staff state vehicles for service or cleaning when needed.
• Monitor Storeroom email account: Pulls, packs and deliver supplies and equipment to bureaus.
• Assist with receiving and verification of goods.
• Assist with room setups/teardowns for PUC events.
• Assist with filing, inventory and reports as needed.

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 30-minute lunch, or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch, Monday-Friday.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Graduation from high school; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
